AIM Team

The AIM Team (Advocacy In Motion) is a peer-led advocacy group dedicated to empowering individuals through education, connection, and self-advocacy. Our members come together to learn, share experiences, and support one another in speaking up for their rights, goals, and futures.
Through workshops, resources, and community collaboration, the AIM Team helps individuals build confidence, gain practical skills, and navigate systems with greater independence.
Supported by San Andreas Regional Center (SARC) and Beyond Compliance, the AIM Team is committed to creating spaces where every voice is heard, respected, and uplifted. Together, we AIM to make advocacy accessible, person-centered, and meaningful for all.

Our Youtube Channel
The AIM Team is launching a YouTube channel designed to make self-advocacy easier, clearer, and more accessible. Through short, engaging videos, members share real experiences, tips, and examples that help others understand their rights, speak up for themselves, and live meaningful, person-centered lives.
Our YouTube content also highlights the importance of Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS)—breaking down what they are, why they matter, and how individuals can use their voices to shape the supports they receive.

Tools, Resources & Peer Support
AIM Team members believe that advocacy grows stronger when we learn together. That’s why we provide a growing collection of tools, handouts, and peer-led resources that help individuals navigate everything from planning meetings to understanding service options.
Whether someone is just getting started with self-advocacy or looking to deepen their skills, the AIM Team offers guidance, encouragement, and a community ready to uplift one another.
